Grain Empties Moving South
Description:
Two units bring Pacific National empty grain train 9323N around a curve on a Tuesday afternoon while descending about 10KM of 1.4% grade to Fish River. The train is at KP260 approaching the Old Hume Highway underpass; its destination is Cootamundra, about 170 kilometers further down the road. 81-class 8173 is followed by C-class C-509 in Coote Industrial colors. In US terms this pair is close to an SD40-2/SD40 duo.
