Description:
V/Line N-Class N465 has just dropped its train at Southern Cross Station and is headed for the barn on a Saturday afternoon. The 25 units of this class make up the majority of the V/Line's diesel locomotive units. Although most trackage is still broad gauge, the one stretch of dual gauge (standard and broad) track into Southern Cross Station is visable here. It provides access for XPT trains to Sydney and the Overland, which runs tri-weekly to Adelaide.
